Meet Dash
Reading with Dash was based off of a real pet chameleon (pictured here). I've always had a fascination with lizards from a very young age. Dash was a carpet chameleon, which is one of the smallest species and originates from the island of Madagascar.

Hello! My name is Whitney and writing and illustrating children's books has always been a dream of mine. After years of planning Reading with Dash, I'm so excited that it's finally becoming a reality. I taught preschool and computers to elementary students which helped me understand what kids need to be learning at a very young age. I'm so grateful for all the support I've received and can't wait to keep doing what I love. I was born and raised in Utah and enjoy singing, reading, spending time with friends and family, and playing pickleball with my husband.
